I’ve just been sent a selection of prints from Prada’s Autumn/Winter 2012 Men’s collection. From what I’ve seen so far, Prada have, once again, excelled on the prints front; they never fail to surprise.

After the extravaganza that was Prada’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection, I’ve always been expecting something amazing. The problem was that I thought ‘amazing’ meant ‘multicoloured print-heavy spectacle’. Which is why, at first, I was so disappointed with the AW12 and the new SS13 collection.

Fortunately, I learnt the meaning of amazing, and have come to terms with the fact that ‘amazing’ comes in many different shapes, sizes, colours, cuts, etc…

The new collection is fabulous. Utterly original, which in essence, is exactly what Prada is: an originator.

I really was expecting something different… But that’s not to say I don’t like the campaign; the prints are amazing, the setting not so much.

I’ve just stumbled across a website called Neiman Marcus, and I came across these beautiful things:

So chic! I’m tempted, but I think it’s crocodile embossed leather instead of the real stuff though, which may be the deciding factor…

Thoughts?

After over a month’s contemplating – and more so waiting – I finally have my euphoric Prada shirt!

I’ve wanted this shirt for what seems to be a very long time (just over a month), but unfortunately Prada didn’t have any short sleeve shirts left. Fortunately, they had the one I wanted in long sleeve, and thanks to Prada’s in-house tailors, I now have the shirt of my dreams.

I also have a t-shirt in this print, but I much prefer the shirt. Rather eclectic, don’t you think?
